Once upon a time, in a sunny farmyard, there lived a proud rooster named Rocky. His feathers gleamed like the morning sun, bright and bold. Every morning, he would crow, "Cock-a-doodle-doo! Look at me! I'm the best rooster in the whole world!"

One day, Rocky strutted around the farm, showing off his beautiful feathers. "I am the most handsome!" he clucked to Daisy, the sweet little rabbit, who was munching on a carrot.

"Rocky," said Daisy softly, "being handsome is nice, but kindness is more important."

"Nonsense!" Rocky fluffed his feathers. "I am perfect just as I am!"

Just then, Bella, the wise old owl, flew down from her tree. "Rocky, my dear," Bella said gently, "there is more to being great than just looks. You must share your gifts with others."

But Rocky just laughed. "Why should I? I am the best!"

That night, there was a big storm. The wind howled, and the rain poured down. Rocky was scared. "Oh no! What will I do?" he squawked.

Daisy hopped close. "Let's stick together, Rocky. You can keep us safe with your crowing!"

Suddenly, Rocky understood. He could help his friends. So, he crowed loudly, "Cock-a-doodle-doo! Stay close, everyone!"

The next morning, the sun shone brightly again. Rocky felt happy. "Thank you, Daisy. Thank you, Bella," he said with a smile. “I see now that kindness is the best treasure of all.”

And from that day on, Rocky wasn't just proud of his feathers. He was proud of his big heart too.

Moral of the story: True beauty shines from within, and kindness is the greatest treasure of all.
