In a cozy, snowy school, there was a little penguin named Pip. Pip loved Christmas. Pip had a plan. Pip wanted to make a big surprise for his best friend, Flap the Seal.
Pip said, "I will make a shiny star for Flap. Flap will love it!"
The school was busy. Penguins and seals were singing. They were making snowflakes. They were playing games.
Pip found some shiny paper. "This will be perfect!" said Pip. Pip cut and folded. Snip, snip, fold, fold.
But oh no! The paper flew away. It flew up, up, up! Pip waddled fast. "Come back, paper!" cried Pip.
Flap saw Pip running. "What are you doing, Pip?" asked Flap.
Pip said, "I am making a star for you! But the paper ran away."
Flap smiled. "I will help you, Pip," said Flap.
Together, Pip and Flap chased the paper. They laughed and giggled. The paper went this way. It went that way.
Finally, they caught it! "Hooray!" cheered Pip. "Now we can make the star."
Pip and Flap folded the paper. Snip, snip, fold, fold. At last, the star was ready. It was shiny and bright.
Pip gave the star to Flap. "Merry Christmas, Flap," said Pip.
Flap hugged Pip. "Thank you, Pip. I love my star."
And so, under the twinkling lights, Pip and Flap sang and danced. They felt the warmth of Christmas magic, together.
