Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived a little pig named Percy. Percy was round and pink, with a cheerful snout. One morning, he woke up to find his favorite red ball was missing!
“Oh no!” squeaked Percy. “Where is my ball?”
Percy looked around. The flowers swayed in the soft breeze, and the trees whispered secrets. “I will find my ball!” he declared. Off he went on a grand adventure.
He trotted through the tall grass. “Have you seen my ball?” he asked the wise old owl.
“Whoo! Your ball may be by the sparkling stream,” said the owl, blinking slowly.
“Thank you!” said Percy. He hurried to the stream. The water sparkled like diamonds.
“Hello, fish!” called Percy. “Have you seen my ball?”
“Splish splash! It's by the big rock!” they bubbled cheerfully.
Percy bounced to the big rock. But no ball! “Oh dear!” he sighed.
Just then, a friendly rabbit hopped by. “What's wrong, Percy?” asked the rabbit.
“My ball is lost!” cried Percy.
“Let's look together!” said the rabbit, twitching his nose.
They searched high and low. Finally, they saw a glow under a bush. “Look!” shouted the rabbit.
There was Percy's ball, bright and red!
“Yay!” cheered Percy. “Thank you, dear friend!”
Percy learned that with friends, adventures are fun. And together, they played until the sun set.
From that day on, Percy always remembered that friendship shines brighter than any lost ball.
