Bunny was hopping in the meadow. Bunny was happy. It was Easter time! Bunny had painted eggs, shiny and bright. "One, two, three, four," counted Bunny. But oh no! One egg was missing.

Bunny looked left. Bunny looked right. "Where is my special egg?" said Bunny. Bunny's friend, Squirrel, jumped over. "What's wrong, Bunny?" asked Squirrel. "My egg is gone," said Bunny. "Let's find it together!"

Bunny and Squirrel hopped and skipped. They found Bird on a branch. "Tweet-tweet, what are you doing?" chirped Bird. "We're finding the egg," said Bunny. "Can I help?" asked Bird. "Yes, please!" said Bunny.

So, Bunny, Squirrel, and Bird went on a search. "Look! Look!" said Bird. There was Hedgehog, rolling around. "Hello, Hedgehog," said Bunny. "Have you seen an egg?" "No, but I will help!" said Hedgehog.

Now, Bunny, Squirrel, Bird, and Hedgehog searched together. They went over the hill and under the tree. They giggled and played. It was fun!

Then, Bunny saw something shiny. "Look there!" shouted Bunny. It was the missing egg! "Hooray!" cheered all the friends. The egg was behind a flower, happy and bright.

Bunny picked up the egg. "Thank you, friends!" said Bunny. "Let's have a picnic!" So they all sat on the grass. Bunny shared treats with Squirrel, Bird, and Hedgehog. They laughed and shared stories.

The sun was warm. The friends were happy. Bunny smiled. "Easter is fun with friends," said Bunny. "Yes, it is!" said Squirrel. "Let's play!" said Bird. "Roll around!" said Hedgehog.

And they played and laughed until it was time to say goodbye. Bunny felt happy. Bunny had good friends. And Bunny had found the special egg. It was a magical Easter day.
