The Brave Little Mouse and the Shiny Star

Once upon a time, in a cozy little meadow, there lived a brave little mouse named Mia. Mia had soft, gray fur and bright, twinkling eyes. She loved to explore and dream big.

One bright morning, Mia looked up at the sky. “Oh, what is that shiny star?” she asked her friend, Benny the bunny. Benny had long ears and loved to hop.

“That's the Wish Star!” Benny said with a twitch of his nose. “It grants wishes! But it's very far away.”

Mia's eyes sparkled. “I will go get the Wish Star!” she declared boldly.

“Be careful, Mia!” said Benny, worried. “It's a big world out there!”

“I will be brave!” Mia replied, standing tall.

So, off she went, her tiny feet pattering on the soft grass. She climbed over rocks and squeezed through tall grass. “I'm coming, Wish Star!” she squeaked.

Suddenly, Mia met a wise old owl perched on a branch. “Whooo goes there?” hooted the owl.

“It's me, Mia! I'm going to get the Wish Star!” she said proudly.

“Little mouse, remember,” said the owl, “wishes come from the heart, not just from the star.”

Mia thought about the owl's words. “I want to wish for courage!” she said.

Finally, after much adventure, Mia arrived at the shining star. “I wish for courage!” she called.

The star twinkled brightly. “You already have it, dear Mia!” it chimed.

Mia smiled, feeling warm inside. She ran back to Benny. “I have courage!” she squeaked happily.

“See? You were brave!” Benny cheered.

And from that day on, Mia knew that true courage lived in her heart.
