The Kind Crocodile and the Lonely Frog
Once upon a time, in a sparkling blue river, lived a kind crocodile named Charlie. Charlie had shiny green scales that glimmered like emeralds in the sun. He loved to swim and splash in the water, but he felt a little lonely.
One sunny day, while basking on a warm rock, Charlie heard a soft voice. “Croak, croak!” It was Fiona, a little frog sitting on a lily pad. She looked sad.
“Hello, little frog!” Charlie called. “Why are you sad?”
Fiona sighed. “I don't have any friends. All the other frogs hop away from me. I'm too small.”
Charlie wiggled his big tail. “You are not too small! You are special! Come and play with me!”
Fiona's eyes sparkled. “Really? You want to play?”
“Yes!” said Charlie. “Let's play hide and seek! You can hide, and I will find you!”
Fiona smiled wide. “Okay!” She hopped away to hide behind a big flower. Charlie counted slowly, “One, two, three…”
When Charlie found Fiona, they laughed and splashed in the water together.
From that day on, Charlie and Fiona became the best of friends. They played every day, and Fiona never felt lonely again.
The river was filled with laughter, and Charlie learned that kindness brings happiness.
And so, dear children, always be kind, for kindness can turn lonely days into joyful ones.
