Chapter 1: Tommy and the Dark Room

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Tommy. Tommy was four years old. He loved playing with his toys and reading books with lots of pictures. But when it got dark, Tommy felt a little scared. He didn't like the dark at all.

One night, after dinner, Tommy's mom said, "It's time for bed, Tommy." Tommy nodded and held his mom's hand as they walked to his room. His room was cozy with a soft bed, a teddy bear named Mr. Snuggles, and a lamp shaped like a star.

But when his mom turned off the light, the room became dark, and Tommy felt a little scared. "Mommy, I don't like the dark," said Tommy.

His mom knelt beside his bed and said softly, "The dark can be a little scary, Tommy, but it's just the same room as before. Let's find something that makes you feel safe."

Tommy thought for a moment and said, "Mr. Snuggles makes me feel safe." His mom smiled and tucked Mr. Snuggles in beside Tommy.

"Mr. Snuggles is a great friend," she said. "And you know what? We can make the dark less scary together."

Tommy felt warm inside. He liked that idea.

Chapter 2: The Glow Stars

The next day, Tommy's mom had a surprise. She showed him a pack of stickers that glowed in the dark. They were little stars and moons. "These will help us make the dark less scary," she told Tommy.

Together, they stuck the glowing stars and moons on the ceiling above Tommy's bed. When the lights were on, the stickers looked plain, but when the lights went off, they glowed softly like magic.

That night, Tommy climbed into bed, hugging Mr. Snuggles. His mom turned off the light, and the room went dark. But this time, something special happened. The stars and moons began to glow gently, lighting up the room with a friendly glow.

"Wow," said Tommy, looking up. "It's like the sky inside my room!"

His mom smiled. "Yes, Tommy. Now you have your very own starry night. It's always there, even in the dark."

Tommy felt happy. The dark wasn't so scary anymore. With his glowing stars, Mr. Snuggles, and his mom by his side, he felt safe and snug.

Chapter 3: A Nighttime Adventure

That night, as Tommy lay in bed, he imagined he was on an adventure. He was the captain of a spaceship, flying through a sky full of stars. Mr. Snuggles was his co-pilot, and they were on a mission to explore the friendly night sky.

"Look, Mr. Snuggles," Tommy whispered. "We're flying so high!"

Tommy closed his eyes, feeling brave and calm. He remembered his mom's words, "The dark is just the same room as before." With that thought, he felt even braver.

The next morning, Tommy woke up smiling. He ran to his mom and said, "Mommy, I wasn't scared of the dark! I saw stars and went on a nighttime adventure!"

His mom hugged him tight. "I'm so proud of you, Tommy. You were very brave."

From that day on, Tommy knew he could be brave, even in the dark. He had his glowing stars, Mr. Snuggles, and his mom's love to guide him through the night.

And so, every night, Tommy would say, "Goodnight, stars. Goodnight, Mr. Snuggles," before drifting off to sleep, dreaming of new adventures under his very own starry sky.
