The day went by in a blur of excitement for Tommy. He helped his mom with chores around the house and even made her a little card with colorful crayons. As the afternoon approached, Tommy's excitement grew even more.

When the clock struck three, Tommy ushered his mom outside. To her surprise, there was a parade of all their neighbors marching down the street. Each neighbor held a handmade card or a bouquet of flowers for Mrs. Green.
"Surprise, Mommy!" Tommy exclaimed, his face beaming with joy.
Mrs. Green was speechless. She was overwhelmed by the love and effort put into this surprise parade. Tears of joy welled up in her eyes as she hugged Tommy tightly.

As the sun began to set, the neighbors gathered in the town square for a special Mother's Day picnic. Tommy sat close to his mom, sharing a blanket and munching on delicious treats.
"Thank you, Tommy," Mrs. Green said softly. "This has been the best Mother's Day surprise ever."
