Three characters: a 6-year-old blond boy with sparkling green eyes sitting left of a plate of pancakes holding a towel folded like a "mountain"; a 4-year-old brown-haired boy with rosy cheeks sitting right of the plate holding a towel drawn like a "worm" with a smiley and looking affectionately at his brother; and their mother, about 30, chestnut hair in a loose bun, soft eyes, laughing with open arms to embrace the children, standing slightly bent toward the table wearing a pastel apron; set in a sunny kitchen with a light wood table, colorful plates, a stack of golden pancakes, shiny red apples, a glass of orange juice with a small splash, scattered napkins and crayons, and a window showing a green garden and warm morning light; the boys proudly present their folded towels while the mother laughs and hugs them, creating a tender, joyful family scene with soft colors, rounded lines and exaggerated smiling expressions to emphasize warmth. report a problem with this image

Today is Mother's Day. Theo and Max wake up early, their hair sticking up like little hedgehogs. They look at each other and giggle. “Let's make breakfast special for Mama!” says Theo, his eyes sparkling. Max nods and wheels over to the kitchen table, ready for adventure.

They want everything to look just right. Pancakes, juice, and shiny red apples—yum! But wait, the table needs something more. Theo grabs the napkins. “Let's fold them fancy!” he says. Max claps his hands, “Yes! Fancy napkins for Mama!”

Theo tries to fold a napkin into a triangle, but it flops over like a sleepy puppy. Max tries to make a square, but his napkin looks like a crumpled hat. They laugh and try again. This time, Theo's napkin looks like a mountain. Max's looks like a wiggly worm.

“Mine is a mountain napkin!” says Theo, proud. “Mine is a worm napkin!” says Max, grinning.

They put the mountain and the worm napkins on the table. The napkins look silly, but very happy. Theo takes a blue crayon and draws a tiny heart on his napkin. Max draws a smiley face on his. “Now they are extra special,” says Max.

Just then, Mama walks in, rubbing her eyes. She smells pancakes and smiles. “Good morning, my little chefs!” she says.

Theo and Max shout, “Happy Mother's Day!” They show Mama the funny napkins. Mama laughs and hugs them both. “These are the best napkins ever,” she says.

They all sit down together. Mama puts the mountain napkin on her lap and tucks the worm napkin into her shirt. Theo and Max giggle. “You look so funny, Mama!” says Theo.

Mama winks. “I feel funny too! Thank you, boys. I love you very much.” They eat pancakes and apples. Juice dribbles down Max's chin. Theo makes a pancake mustache. Everyone laughs.

After breakfast, Mama says, “Let's rest together now.” They cuddle up on the big sofa, snuggled in a soft blanket. Theo yawns. Max yawns too.

Mama whispers, “The best gift is being together.” Theo and Max smile, warm and safe, ready for a little nap, dreaming of more happy days.
