Chapter 1: A Sunny Morning Surprise

The sun is peeking through the curtains. Everything feels soft and warm. Three little girls wake up together. Their names are Mia, Zoe, and Lily.

They wiggle their toes. They giggle under the covers. The house is very quiet. But there is something special today.

Zoe whispers, “Today is Mother's Day!”

Lily claps her hands. “Let's make something nice for Mom!”

Mia nods. “A yummy drink! Like she makes for us.”

They crawl off the bed. Their pajamas are full of happy colors. Socks are on the wrong feet, but nobody minds.

Lily brings her bunny. Mia holds her favorite blanket. Zoe bounces ahead. They tiptoe to the kitchen. Their hearts feel big and excited.

Chapter 2: Three Little Helpers

The kitchen smells like sunshine and sleepy dreams. There are cups, spoons, and pots.

Mia says, “Mom likes tea.”

Zoe says, “Mom likes warm milk.”

Lily thinks hard. “Maybe we can make both!”

They look for the teapot. It is high on the shelf. Too high. But there is a little plastic kettle on the table. It is for play. They laugh.

“Let's use our kettle!” says Zoe.

They fill it with pretend water. They stir with pretend spoons. Lily adds a little toy lemon. Mia pours pretend tea into a tiny cup.

Zoe adds a teddy bear cookie. “Cookies make tea special!”

Mia smiles, “We need a tray!”

They find a pink tray. It is wobbly but fun. They put the cup, the pretend kettle, and the cookie on it.

They look around. Something is missing.

“A flower!” says Lily.

They find a yellow dandelion in the garden. The stem is short and curly. They put it in a tiny cup.

Chapter 3: Mother's Day Magic

They walk slowly. Step by step. The tray jiggles. The tea sloshes. But they are careful.

They hear footsteps. Mom is coming! She looks surprised. Her smile is big and kind.

“Good morning, sweet girls,” says Mom.

“Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!” they sing together.

They show her the tray.

“For you!” says Mia.

“Hot tea and milk!” says Zoe.

“And a flower,” adds Lily.

Mom sits on the soft rug. The girls sit close.

Mom takes a tiny pretend sip. “Mmm, delicious!”

She takes a tiny pretend bite of cookie. “So yummy!”

The girls giggle. Lily's bunny joins the tea party.

Mom hugs them all. “Thank you, my loves. This is the best Mother's Day surprise.

Mia says, “We made it together.”

Zoe says, “Because we love you!”

Lily says, “We like sharing with you.”

Mom's eyes are shiny and happy. She pulls everyone close. “I love you, too, my little helpers. Thank you for your lovely tea and for sharing your hearts.”

They all say, “Thank you, Mommy!” Their voices sound like soft music in the morning light.

They stay cuddled for a long time. Tea, cookies, and smiles fill the room. The house is warm with love and giggles.

The sun shines a little brighter.
