Chapter 1: The Wish
Once upon a time, in a cheerful little town, there lived a three-year-old boy named Timmy. Timmy had bright blue eyes and a big, happy smile. He loved to play with his toys and read colorful books.
One sunny afternoon, Timmy found a shiny red toy car in a store. "Oh, I want that car!" he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling. But Timmy didn't have enough money. He thought and thought.
"I know! I can tell a little lie," he said to himself. "I'll say my birthday is tomorrow, and then I can get the car!"
So, Timmy walked up to the shopkeeper and said, "My birthday is tomorrow! Can I please have the red car?"
The shopkeeper smiled, "Oh, how exciting! Happy early birthday, Timmy! Here's your car!"
Timmy was so happy. He took the car and raced home, giggling all the way.
Chapter 2: The Trouble
At home, Timmy played with his new red car. Zoom! Vroom! The car went fast! But soon, Timmy started to feel a little strange.
His friend Lucy came over. “Wow, Timmy! Is it really your birthday?” she asked.
Timmy paused. He felt a tickle in his tummy. "Um, yes! Tomorrow is my birthday!" he lied again.
Lucy smiled. “Can I come to your party?”
Timmy's heart raced. “Sure!” he said. But in his heart, he felt heavy because he wasn't telling the truth.
Later, Timmy opened a book about a clever fox. The fox told a lie and got into big trouble. “Oh no!” thought Timmy. “I don't want trouble!”
As he read more, he learned about honesty and how being truthful makes friends happy. Timmy started to think about what he had done.
Chapter 3: The Truth
The next day, Timmy saw Lucy at the park. “Are you ready for your party?” she asked excitedly.
Timmy felt scared but knew he needed to be honest. “Lucy, I have something to tell you,” he said quietly. “I lied. My birthday is not tomorrow. I just wanted the red car.”
Lucy looked surprised. “Oh, Timmy. I'm sad you lied. But thank you for telling me the truth.”
Timmy felt lighter and smiled. “I'm sorry, Lucy. I just wanted to play with the car.”
Lucy hugged him. “It's okay. Let's play together!”
From that day on, Timmy learned that telling the truth was much better than lying. He played happily with Lucy, sharing the red car.
And that's how Timmy discovered that honesty brings joy, friendship, and trust. Timmy never forgot the lesson about the car and the truth.
And they all played together, laughing and having fun, always telling the truth from then on.
