Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. Lily was two years old. She loved to play with her friends. Lily had three funny friends: Tom, Mia, and Ben.

Tom was small and fast like a bunny. Mia was tall and loved to dance. Ben was round and loved to laugh. They were the best of friends.

One sunny day, Lily said, "Let's have a picnic!"

"Yay!" said Tom. "I will bring apples."

"I will bring juice," said Mia, twirling around.

"And I will bring cookies," said Ben, giggling.

They all grabbed their little baskets and walked to the park. They found a big, green tree. It was the perfect spot.

Tom opened his basket. No apples! "Oh no!" he said, looking very surprised.

Mia opened her basket. No juice! "Oh dear!" she said, with a funny face.

Ben opened his basket. No cookies! "Oh wow!" he laughed, shaking his head.

Lily looked at her friends and said, "What now?"

Tom said, "Let's look!"

Mia said, "Let's dance!"

Ben said, "Let's laugh!"

Lily giggled. "Let's find our snacks!"

They all laughed and started to search. Tom ran fast. Mia danced around. Ben tumbled and rolled. Lily clapped her hands.

"Oh look!" shouted Tom. There were the apples, under a bush.

Mia twirled and found the juice behind the tree. "Here it is!" she laughed.

Ben rolled over and saw the cookies in a hole. "Yum!" he cheered.

They all sat and shared their snacks. Apples, juice, and cookies tasted so good.

"Friends are the best!" Lily said, with a big smile.

"Yes, friends are fun!" they all shouted together.

And they laughed and played happily in the sun, feeling happy and full of joy.
