Part 1: A Mysterious Halloween Mission
Mia woke up and rubbed her little eyes. Today was Halloween! The sun was shining, but Mia felt a tiny shiver of excitement. She jumped out of bed and found her orange dress with the black cat on it.
“Mia, it's a special day!” called her mommy from the kitchen.
Mia smiled. She loved Halloween. It meant giggles, candy, and funny costumes. But this year, Mia had a very important job. She had to paint a big, bright Halloween poster for the party at her preschool.
She put on her sparkly bat wings and tiptoed to the kitchen. There, on the table, was a big white poster. Next to it sat a box of paints, a brush, and a round sponge. Mia grinned. She was ready for her mysterious art mission.
Part 2: Painting with Friends
Mia sat down and thought. “What should I paint?” she whispered. The room felt calm, but a little bit magical—just right for Halloween.
Suddenly, her friend Oliver, dressed as a pumpkin, peeked in. “Can I help?” he asked.
Mia nodded. “Yes! Let's make it spooky and fun.”
Together, they dipped the brush into orange paint. Mia painted a big, round pumpkin. Oliver added a silly, crooked smile. The pumpkin looked happy, not scary at all.
Knock, knock! Their friend Ava, dressed as a ghost, floated into the room. “Boo!” she giggled. “Can I paint, too?”
“Yes!” said Mia. “Help us make friendly ghosts.”
Ava pressed the sponge into white paint and made little ghost shapes. Mia and Oliver drew round eyes and wide, wobbly mouths. The ghosts looked surprised but friendly, like they were saying, “Hello!”
The three friends laughed and painted together. Sometimes Mia's brush slipped, and orange paint landed on her nose. “Oh no! I'm turning into a pumpkin!” she joked. Everyone giggled.
Part 3: A Happy, Sharing Halloween
Soon, more friends arrived. Each one came in a funny costume—witches, cats, and even a tiny dinosaur. Everyone wanted to help. They shared the paints and took turns with the brushes.
“I want to paint candy!” said Ella, dressed as a fairy.
“I want to paint stars!” said Ben, with his wizard hat.
The poster filled up with candy corn, shiny stars, and smiling bats. The room buzzed with happy voices.
Sometimes, the paint got on fingers, noses, and even a little on the floor. But Mia's mommy just laughed. “That's what sponges are for,” she winked.
At last, the poster was finished. It was bright, silly, and full of friendly Halloween things. Mia saw pumpkins, happy ghosts, funny hats, and lots and lots of stars.
“Wow,” said Mia. “We did it together! This is the best Halloween poster ever.”
Her friends agreed. They looked at their hands—colorful and messy—and smiled.
Mia felt a warm, happy feeling inside. Sharing was fun. Painting together made her Halloween even more special.
When it was time for the party, everyone admired the poster. Mia's teacher smiled, “Great job, everyone! This is a magical Halloween poster.”
Mia held her friends' hands and grinned. Halloween was mysterious and a little bit spooky, but together, it was safe and full of joy. And that night, Mia dreamed of friendly ghosts, giggling pumpkins, and many happy Halloween adventures to come.
