A 2-year-old boy with sparkling eyes and rosy cheeks is sitting on a fluffy carpet. He smiles in wonder, reaching for a shimmering light on the Christmas tree. His messy brown hair and soft red and white striped pajamas add to his charm. Next to him is his mother, a woman around 30 years old, with long brown hair and a warm smile, wearing a red wool sweater. She looks at her son tenderly while showing him the decorated tree. The cozy living room is lit by fairy lights, and the majestic tree is adorned with colorful baubles and golden garlands, while snowflakes gently fall outside the window, creating a magical atmosphere. The boy, enchanted, touches one of the lights on the tree, with a small golden star shining at the top. The room is filled with warmth and joy, with a plate of cookies and a glass of milk on a nearby table. report a problem with this image

Once upon a time there was a little boy. He was one year old. He had warm eyes. He had soft hands. It was near Christmas. Snow fell soft. Snow fell slow. Bells rang. Bells rang clear. The tree stood in the room. Lights on the tree blinked. Candles shone on the sill.

The little boy sat on his lap. His mum sat close. "Look," she said. "See the tree." He smiled. He reached out. He touched a light. The light felt warm. He laughed. The laugh was small and sweet. Snow falls. Bells ring. Tree glows. Candles shine.

Outside a small bird came to the window. The bird tapped the glass. "Hello," the bird said. The boy waved. The bird sang a small song. The song was soft and kind. The boy clapped. Mum clapped too. They all smiled.

A plate of small cakes sat near them. Mum set warm milk in a cup. She gave the boy a sip. He held the cup. He made a small face. He giggled. The cat came slow and soft. The cat bumped his leg. He gave the cat a tiny cake. All was kind.

The fire made a quiet sound. The rug was soft. The room was red and gold. A gift sat by the tree. The boy held the gift. He pulled the string. A small toy came out. The toy had a bell. The bell said "ding". He held the toy close. He felt safe.

Night came slow. Stars shone. Small dots. The moon looked in. Mum tucked the boy in. She pulled a warm wrap up. "Sleep," she said. "Sleep and dream of snow." She sang a small song. He closed his eyes. He was warm. He was loved. Snow falls. Bells ring. Tree glows. Candles shine.

The house was calm. All was soft. All was bright. All was soft peace.

A small heart can make big joy.
