The sun peeked through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. Ten-year-old Max jumped out of bed, his heart racing with excitement. Today was not just any day; it was the day before Easter!
“Mom! Dad! Are you ready?” Max shouted as he dashed down the stairs. The smell of pancakes wafted through the air, and he could hear his parents bustling about in the kitchen.
“Almost, sweetie! Just a few more minutes!” his mom called back.
