The Silly Spell Book

Little Mimi was a very tiny witch. She had big round glasses, green boots, and a little purple hat. Mimi lived in a bright, wobbly house made of jellybeans. One sunny morning, Mimi was sweeping her room when she found a funny book under her bed. The book was big. The book was green. The book smelled like bananas. On the cover, it said: “The Super Silly Spell Book!”

“Oh! What's this?” asked Mimi, her eyes very wide.

Just then, her best friend, Oliver the giggly owl, flapped in through the window.

“Whoooo found a book?” hooted Oliver.

“I did!” giggled Mimi. “It's a magic book! Let's open it!”

Oliver wiggled his wings. “Maybe it's full of silly spells!”

Mimi laughed. “Let's find out!” She opened the book. The pages were sticky. There were funny pictures of frogs in hats and cats with giant mustaches.

“Let's try a tiny spell,” said Mimi. She read, “Wiggly-wobbly, socks on my feet, make my broomstick bounce like a treat!”

Suddenly, her broomstick bounced up and down. Boing! Boing! Boing! Mimi and Oliver laughed and laughed.

“This broom is silly!” said Mimi. The broomstick bounced her around the room. Boing! Boing! Boing!

Oliver hooted, “Let's try another one!”

The Day of Silly Spells

Mimi found a spell with a picture of a dancing pumpkin. She read aloud, “Pumpkin on the head, hop on the bed!”

POOF! A little pumpkin appeared on Mimi's head. It wiggled. It jiggled. Then, it started to sing.

“Hello! I'm a pumpkin! I like to hop!” sang the pumpkin.

Mimi giggled and jumped on her bed. Boing! Boing! The pumpkin bounced with her. Oliver rolled on the floor, laughing so hard.

“You look so funny!” hooted Oliver.

The pumpkin sang, “Let's find another spell! I want a friend!”

Mimi flipped the sticky pages. She found a spell with a picture of a jellyfish wearing glasses.

“Jelly-welly, jiggly-jump, bring a jellyfish with a plump!”

Zap! A jellyfish appeared. It floated in the air and wore red glasses.

“Hello!” said the jellyfish. “I'm Jiggly.”

The pumpkin cheered, “Let's dance!”

Now Mimi, Oliver, the pumpkin, and Jiggly the jellyfish all danced around the room. They giggled and jiggled and wiggled.

The Happy Ending

After lots of silly spells, Mimi felt tired. “Oh, my! That's enough magic for today,” she said.

The pumpkin said, “I want to nap on your head.”

Jiggly floated down and whispered, “I like your room, Mimi.”

Oliver flapped his wings and said, “Let's have a snack!”

So they all sat together on the bed, eating jellybeans and telling jokes. Mimi hugged her silly spell book.

“I love magic,” she whispered.

Oliver hooted, “Magic is best with friends!”

Mimi, the pumpkin, Jiggly, and Oliver smiled. In their jellybean house, with a wobbly broom and a book full of giggles, everything was just right.

And from that day, whenever Mimi wanted a laugh, she opened her silly spell book and made magic with her friends.
