A three-year-old apprentice wizard with a round face and rosy cheeks wears a drooping blue hat and short striped robe, watching in awe and concentration as he mischievously guides a parade of shiny translucent bubbles with pink and silver highlights using a large wooden spoon like a flag; beside him walks Wizard Mallow, about 45, with a gentle beard and cream coat, smiling reassuringly with his hand near a wicker laundry basket of fluffy towels, while a thirty-year-old witch with curly hair and purple socks applauds by the kitchen door in a calm sunlit courtyard with round cobbles, a small fountain, colorful flower pots, and golden sunbeams filtering through leaves, the bubbles floating in cadence toward the basket as if it were a cozy bed in a playful, warm scene with bright colors, round shapes, and soft textures. report a problem with this image

Part 1: Bingo and the Sneezing Wand

Bingo was three. Bingo was a wizard apprentice.

He wore a floppy blue hat that kept sliding over his eyes. He liked it that way. It made him feel extra wizard-y.

Today, Bingo had a small wand, a round belly laugh, and a big idea.

In the cozy Magic Kitchen, a pot of soup bubbled with gentle “plip… plip… plip.”

All the friendly grown-up wizards were busy. One chopped carrots. One stirred noodles. One counted shiny spoons.

Bingo tiptoed to a shelf. On it sat a jar with a label.

It said, “SPRINKLE DUST. Use ONE pinch.

Bingo squinted. “One pinch,” he whispered.

His little fingers grabbed… not one pinch.

They grabbed a whole fluffy puff.

“Oopsie-daisy,” Bingo said, very politely.

The dust floated into the air like glittery snow. It tickled Bingo's nose.

“Achoo!”

His wand squeaked.

The soup went, “POP!”

Suddenly, the kitchen filled with bouncing bubbles. Big bubbles. Small bubbles. Wiggly bubbles.

A bubble booped a wizard's nose. “Boop!”

Another bubble sat on a ladle like a hat.

Bingo giggled. “Hello, bubbles!”

The bubbles did not feel scary. They felt silly. They smelled like strawberries and soap.

But the bubbles were also very, very busy.

They bumped into bowls. They lifted napkins. They tried to carry a whole loaf of bread.

The grown-up wizards looked up.

“Uh-oh,” said Wizard Mallow. “The dinner bubbles are loose.”

Bingo hugged his wand. “I did an achoo.”

Wizard Mallow knelt down and smiled. “Thank you for telling us. We can fix it together.”

Together. That word felt warm like toast.

Bingo nodded. “Together!”

Just then, a bubble bounced the salt shaker across the table.

“Wheee!” said the bubble. The salt went “sh-sh-sh!” like tiny rain.

“Oh dear,” said Wizard Mallow. “If the bubbles sprinkle everything, dinner will be too salty and too silly.”

Bingo raised his wand. “I have a creative idea!”

Wizard Mallow blinked. “You do?”

Bingo pointed at the big wooden spoon. “We can make a bubble parade. Then the bubbles will follow the spoon.”

A wizard with purple socks clapped. “A parade! That sounds tidy.”

Bingo climbed onto a little stool. He held the spoon like a flag.

“Bubbles!” Bingo called. “Parade time! Follow the Big Spoon!”

The bubbles loved parades. They bounced into a line, one after another, like round, giggling grapes.

Bingo waved the spoon gently. The bubble line bobbed after it.

“Left,” Bingo said.

They went left.

“Right,” Bingo said.

They went right.

Bingo's hat slipped. He pushed it up with one finger and kept leading.

The bubbles followed the spoon right out of the kitchen and into the bright hallway.

Wizard Mallow walked beside Bingo. “You are helping everyone. That is good wizard work.”

Bingo puffed his cheeks. “I am a helpful wizard.”

“A helpful tiny wizard,” said Wizard Mallow.

Bingo giggled. “Tiny but mighty!”

Part 2: The Bubble Parade Plan

The hallway led to the Calm Courtyard. There were soft grass patches and a sleepy fountain that went “plink… plink.”

Bingo led the bubble parade into the courtyard.

But bubbles are bouncy. Bubbles are wiggly. Bubbles are sometimes… extra.

One bubble tried to sit on the fountain. “Plop!”

Another bubble tried to hug a flower. “Squee!”

A third bubble floated up and wore the sunbeam like a scarf.

Bingo looked around. “We need a bubble home.”

Wizard Mallow nodded. “Yes. A safe place for them, and a way to bring dinner back to the kitchen.”

Bingo tapped his chin. Tap. Tap. Tap.

Then he gasped. “The Laundry Basket!”

In the corner was a giant laundry basket for wizard robes. It was wide and friendly and full of soft towels.

Bingo pointed. “Bubbles love soft things.”

Wizard Mallow smiled. “That is a clever, cozy idea.”

Bingo lifted his wand. “Abraca… basket!”

His wand did not boom. It did not bang. It went, “Pip!”

A gentle, warm breeze puffed from the basket. It smelled like clean socks.

The bubbles drifted toward it.

Bingo sang a little song, very simple:

“Bubbles, bubbles, in you go.

Soft and snug, nice and slow.”

Wizard Mallow and the other wizards joined in.

Soon everyone was singing.

Everyone was helping.

The bubbles liked the song. They wobbled into the basket one by one.

“Plop.” “Plip.” “Ploop.”

A bubble peeked out. “Is this my bed?”

“Yes,” Bingo said softly. “A bubble bed.”

The last bubble bounced in and settled. The basket looked like it was full of shiny marshmallows.

Wizard Mallow placed a towel on top like a blanket. “There. Cozy.”

Bingo sighed. “All tucked in.”

Now the courtyard was calm again. The fountain said, “plink… plink.” The flowers stayed in their spots.

Wizard Mallow looked at Bingo. “We still need dinner.”

Bingo nodded. “We all do it. Together.”

They all walked back to the Magic Kitchen.

Inside, the soup was still warm, but the salt shaker sat sideways, looking guilty.

Bingo climbed onto his stool again.

“I will fix my sprinkle,” he said.

Wizard Mallow handed him a tiny spoon. “One pinch, remember.”

Bingo smiled. “One pinch.”

He used the tiny spoon. He sprinkled one pinch of “Un-Silly Sprinkle,” a jar with a smiley face on it.

The soup went “plip,” and the bubbles did not come back.

Wizard Mallow took a careful taste. “Perfect.”

The purple-sock wizard cheered. “Dinner is saved!”

Bingo raised his wand. “Teamwork magic!”

Everyone clapped. Not too loud. Just happy claps.

They set the table together. They shared bowls together. They giggled together.

After dinner, Bingo and Wizard Mallow went to the courtyard and lifted the towel from the basket.

The bubbles had turned into tiny clean sparkles, like bedtime glitter.

Bingo whispered, “Goodnight, bubbles.”

Wizard Mallow whispered, “Goodnight, little wizard.”

Bingo's hat slid over his eyes again.

Bingo smiled under the brim.

He had made a mistake. He had told the truth. He had found a creative fix.

And best of all, everyone had helped.

Together felt just right.
