A little bird flew by. "Tweet, tweet," it sang. Timmy and Sam looked up. "Hello, bird!" they waved. The bird flapped its wings and flew away.

Timmy saw a puddle. "Splash!" he said. Sam clapped his hands. "Splash, splash!" Timmy and Sam laughed. The sun was warm, and the sky was blue.

Timmy's ball rolled away. "Oh no!" Timmy said. Sam reached out and caught the ball. "Here you go," Sam said. Timmy smiled. "Thank you, Sam."

The friends hugged. "Friends forever," they said. Timmy and Sam played until the sun went down. It was a happy day.
