Next to her, her best friend Mia, also 2 years old, has smooth black hair tied in two small pigtails. She wears a blue t-shirt and yellow shorts, raising her arms in the air, ready to add a blue block to the tower they are building together. The floor is covered with a soft, fluffy carpet, and colorful toys are scattered around them, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere. Anna is a little girl. Anna is two. Anna has a friend. Her friend is Mia. Mia is two too.

Anna and Mia play. They play with blocks. Anna puts a red block. Mia puts a blue block. “Good job, Mia!” says Anna. “Thank you, Anna!” says Mia.

Mia wants to build a tall tower. Mia tries. Oh! The blocks fall. Mia looks sad. Anna sees Mia. Anna hugs Mia. “It's okay, Mia,” says Anna. Anna smiles. Anna says, “Let's build again.”

Anna and Mia put blocks. One block. Two blocks. Three blocks. They build a tall, tall tower. “We did it!” says Mia. Anna claps. Mia claps too. They laugh. They are happy.

Anna shares her teddy. “Teddy wants to play,” says Anna. Mia hugs teddy. “Thank you, Anna,” says Mia. Anna feels good. Sharing makes Anna happy.

Suddenly, Anna drops her cup. The cup is on the floor. Anna looks at Mia. “Can you help me?” asks Anna. Mia picks up the cup. “Here you go,” says Mia. Anna smiles. “Thank you, Mia.”

Anna and Mia sit together. They eat apples. Crunch, crunch. Anna looks at Mia. Mia looks at Anna. “You are my friend,” says Anna. “You are my friend too,” says Mia.

Anna and Mia play every day. They help each other. They laugh together. They share toys. Anna loves Mia. Mia loves Anna.

Friends help friends. Friends share. Friends care. Anna and Mia are happy. Friends are special. Friends make us smile.
