Benny is a soft blue pillow. Benny lives in a big, sunny playroom. In the playroom, Benny has many friends. There is Sunny the blanket, Pippa the teddy, and Milo the ball.
One morning, Benny wakes up. The sun is shining. Benny feels happy. “Good morning, Sunny!” says Benny. “Good morning, Benny!” says Sunny.
Today is a special day. All the friends will play together. They sing. They laugh. They sit close. They feel safe.
Suddenly, Pippa the teddy looks sad. Pippa sits very still. Pippa's ribbon is stuck. “Oh no,” says Pippa softly.
Benny sees Pippa. Benny moves closer. “What's wrong, Pippa?” asks Benny gently. “My ribbon is stuck. I can't play,” says Pippa.
Benny smiles. “I will help,” says Benny. Benny calls Sunny the blanket. “Will you help us, Sunny?” “Yes, I will help,” says Sunny.
Benny and Sunny work together. They pull very softly. They tug very gently. “Almost done, Pippa,” says Benny. Pippa waits. Pippa holds Benny's corner.
Snap! The ribbon is free! “Thank you, Benny! Thank you, Sunny!” says Pippa. Pippa hugs Benny. Benny feels warm and happy.
“Now we can play,” says Benny. They roll. They giggle. They share toys. Everyone takes turns.
Milo the ball bounces over. “Let's roll together!” says Milo. Benny rolls with Milo. Pippa and Sunny laugh. Everyone is happy.
Later, the friends sit in a circle. “Friends help friends,” says Benny. “Yes,” says Pippa. “Friends care. Friends share.”
The sun is low. It is time to rest. Benny feels sleepy. Pippa is close. Sunny covers everyone. Milo is quiet.
Benny smiles. “I love my friends,” whispers Benny. The friends snuggle close. They feel safe. They feel loved. Together is the best place.
