They all smiled. Mia got the paper. Lily held the paint. Ava and Zoe found the brushes.

"Paint, paint, paint," said Mia. "Make the sun!"

"Look!" said Lily. "It's bright!"

"It's fun!" said Ava.

"Happy sun," said Zoe.

The girls giggled. The sun was big and bright.

"Let's show Miss Emma," said Mia.

Miss Emma smiled. "Beautiful sun, girls!"

"Thank you, Miss Emma," they said.

The girls clapped hands. They were happy. Summer was fun.

The sun was painted, and the friends were happy. Summer days are the best.
