Little Bunny wakes up. Sunlight shines—peek, peek—on his bed. He smiles, “Good morning!” he says. Soft grass waits outside. Little Bunny hops, hop, hop, out the door. Chirp, chirp! Birds sing in the big green tree. The air smells sweet and warm.
Today is a summer day. Little Bunny's fur feels soft in the sun. He looks for his friends. Squeak! Mouse is here. “Hello, Bunny!” says Mouse. “Let's play!” Bunny giggles. They run on the grass, their feet go tap-tap-tap.
Butterflies flutter—flip, flap—over red flowers. Bunny reaches up. Oops! He slips. Plop! He sits. Mouse giggles. “It's okay,” says Mouse, “Try again!” Bunny stands, dusts his fur, and smiles.
They find a blue pond. Splash! Splash! Duck swims. Bunny dips his paw—cool water, tickle, tickle. Frog jumps—boing!—on a stone. All the friends laugh.
Soon, Bunny feels sleepy. He lies in the shade, eyes close. Buzz, buzz, bees hum nearby. Bunny feels safe.
Soft wind, warm sun, good friends. Bunny is happy inside. Summer days are full of joy and gentle little surprises.
It is nice to try new things and share sunny days with friends.
