Lucy was a happy little girl. It was summer! "Yay!" she said. Lucy went to summer camp.

At camp, Lucy saw bright colors. "Look at the paint!" she giggled. She painted a big sun. "Shiny, shiny sun!"

Lucy played games with her friends. "Catch the ball!" they shouted. They laughed and ran. "So much fun!"

They had a picnic by the trees. "Yummy sandwiches!" said Lucy. "And juice too!" They shared and smiled.

In the evening, they sang songs. "La la la!" they sang together. Lucy felt happy.

Every day was an adventure. "I love summer!" she cheered.

At home, Lucy told her family. "I made friends! I painted! I played!"

Her family smiled. "Summer is for fun!" they said.

Lucy felt warm inside. Summer was full of smiles and joy!
