Sunny days are here! Mia and her friend Lily are ready for summer fun. Mia has bright purple shoes, and Lily has a big, cheerful smile. They are best friends!
“Let's go to the park!” says Mia. “Yes!” says Lily. They roll out of Mia's house, laughing and giggling. The sun is shining, and the sky is blue.
At the park, flowers bloom everywhere. Red, yellow, and blue flowers dance in the breeze. “Look at the flowers, Lily!” says Mia. “They are so pretty!”
Lily smiles and points. “Butterflies!” she says. Little butterflies flutter around. They are yellow and orange. Mia and Lily clap their hands. “Fly, butterflies, fly!” they cheer.
Next, they see a big slide. “Let's go!” says Mia. “Whee!” they shout as they slide down together. Mia goes fast, and Lily goes too! They giggle and laugh.
After sliding, they play with a big beach ball. They kick it and throw it. “Catch it, Lily!” Mia calls. Lily catches the ball with her hands. “I got it!” she cheers.
Soon, it's time for a picnic. They sit on a soft blanket. “Yummy sandwiches!” says Mia. “And juice!” says Lily. They share their food and smile.
“Mia, summer is great!” says Lily. “Yes, it is!” replies Mia.
As the sun sets, they pack up. “Best day ever!” says Mia. “See you tomorrow!” says Lily.
