Mia sits in her round rocket. The rocket is silver. It shines in the sun. Mia wears her blue suit and red boots. She smiles. She is ready to go.
“Three, two, one, go!” says Mia. The rocket goes up, up, up. Mia looks out the window. She sees clouds. She sees the big blue sky. She waves. “Hello, sky!” says Mia.
The rocket moves into space. Stars blink. They are small and bright. Mia sees a big round moon. “Hello, moon!” she says. The rocket floats. It is quiet. Mia feels safe.
Mia eats a snack. She has a soft cookie and a drink. She laughs. The cookie floats. “Come back, cookie!” says Mia. She catches it. She eats it. She is happy.
Mia checks the buttons. She presses the green one. The rocket turns. She sees a red planet. “Hello, planet!” Mia says. She draws a picture of the planet. Mia smiles. She loves her rocket.
It is time to go home. Mia presses the blue button. The rocket goes down, down, down. Mia lands. She opens the door. She feels the warm sun.
It is good to try new things, and it is always nice to come home.
