Jules, a smiling, awed young boy with short brown hair and round eyes in a simple white spacesuit with blue stripes, joyfully presses a big red button at the center of the round, clean cabin; Pip, the personified non-human ship, is a small smooth cream cockpit with a large porthole, a small antenna with a green light and a beige robotic arm turning a cap, showing a friendly expression with glowing "eyes" on the dashboard, just behind Jules to the right; the cabin has soft pastel walls, a control panel with colorful buttons and blinking indicators, rounded seats with buckled belts, and a large oval window revealing a distant blue Earth, a nearby gray Moon and twinkling stars; main scene: calm, joyful liftoff with soft light, simple safe gestures and an atmosphere of trust and adventure; style: naive pencil drawing, pastel colors, soft slightly sketchy lines, suitable for toddlers. report a problem with this image

Jules was a young man. He sat in a small ship. The ship was round and clean. Soft lights glowed.

“Ready?” said Jules.

“Ready,” said the ship. Its name was Pip. Pip had a kind voice.

Jules held a big button. He read the chart. “O2 green. Heat warm. Door shut.”

Pip beeped. “All good.”

Jules pressed the button. The ship went up, slow and smooth. Jules felt light. He giggled. “My feet float!”

Out the window, Earth looked blue and calm. Stars sat like tiny dots.

Pip said, “Next step: seat belt.”

Jules clicked it. “Click.”

They flew to the Moon. Pip showed a screen. “Look. Rock. Dust. No air.”

Jules nodded. “So we keep our air.”

A small light on the panel blinked fast. Jules blinked too. “Uh-oh.”

Pip said, “Just a loose cap.” A tiny arm came out. It turned the cap. The light went steady.

Jules laughed. “Good job, Pip.”

They sent a bright hello beam to a far ship. A dot blinked back. “Hi,” said Jules.

Pip hummed a soft tune as they went home.
