A young, brave smiling girl with bright eyes and rosy cheeks wears a shiny blue spacesuit and silver boots, clutching a small beige teddy named Fluff with a pink bow that raises a paw; they sit in a colorful round rocket cabin with glowing red and green buttons, orange padded seats and a large circular window showing the blue-and-white Earth below, sparkling stars, a nearby gray moon and distant red Mars as the rocket gently lifts off with streaks of light, creating a warm, safe, and wondrous atmosphere. report a problem with this image

Ella puts on her shiny space boots. Zip! She checks her helmet. Click! Ella smiles. She is ready for her rocket trip. She climbs up. Step, step, step. She sits in her big seat and hugs her bear, Fluff.

“Ready, Fluff?” says Ella. Fluff smiles too.

The rocket goes, “Whoosh!” It lifts up. Up, up, up! Ella looks out the window. She sees blue and white. “Bye-bye, Earth!” says Ella. Fluff waves.

Stars blink. Blink, blink. Ella sees a round moon. “Hello, Moon!” she says. She sees a red ball. “Hello, Mars!” she laughs.

The rocket goes, “Beep beep!” It is time for a snack. Ella opens her box. She eats a soft cookie. Munch, munch! Fluff has a tiny snack too.

Suddenly, the light goes, “Blink, blink!” Ella pushes a big red button. “All ok!” says Ella. The rocket is happy. Fluff claps. Clap, clap!

The rocket goes back to Earth. Down, down, down. Ella lands with a soft “Bump!” She smiles and hugs Fluff.

Ella says, “Space is big. We are small. But we can go far when we are kind and brave.
