Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Max. Max was 18 months old. He had big, curious eyes. Max loved adventures.
One sunny day, Max found a shiny map. The map was under his bed. "Oh, what's this?" said Max. The map had stars and lines. "Adventure!" said Max, clapping his hands.
Max showed the map to his teddy bear, Benny. "Look, Benny, a map!" Max said. Benny was Max's best friend. Benny was soft and always listened.
Max and Benny followed the map. They crawled under the table. They tiptoed around the couch. "Is it here?" asked Max.
The map led to the garden. "Oh, look, Benny!" said Max. There was a hidden door. The door was small and green. "Let's go see," said Max.
Max opened the small, green door. Inside was a secret garden. The garden was full of flowers. The flowers were red, blue, and yellow. "So pretty," said Max.
Max and Benny saw a tiny pond. The pond had little fish. "Hello, fish!" said Max. The fish swam round and round. Max giggled. Benny smiled.
Max was very happy. "We are brave, Benny," said Max. "We found a secret place."
Max and Benny sat by the pond. Max felt warm and cozy. Benny felt happy too.
Max whispered to Benny, "We did it. We had an adventure." Benny gave Max a big hug.
When it was time to go home, Max waved goodbye to the garden. "We will be back," said Max.
Max hugged Benny tight. "We are the best team," said Max.
And from that day on, Max and Benny always had adventures together.
