Two 5-year-old boys in a sunny living room turned adventure: a blond boy in a red-and-white striped T-shirt and blue shorts climbs a beige sofa piled with cushions like a mountain at left, arms raised, while a curly brown-haired boy with green eyes, freckles and a yellow dungaree with polka-dot socks carefully crosses a bridge made from a large book over a drawn "river" on a colorful rug at right; a dark coffee table forms a shaded cave, a bright kitchen with blue tiled floor is visible behind, and an open box of colored pencils labeled treasure sits nearby. report a problem with this image

Once upon a time, there were two boys named Timmy and Jake. They were best friends. One sunny day, Timmy said, "Let's go on an adventure!" Jake clapped his hands, "Yay, let's go!"

They took their toy cars and vroom, vroom, off they went! First, they zoomed to the living room. "Look, a mountain!" said Jake, pointing at the couch. "Let's climb it!" said Timmy. They climbed up, saying, "Hop, hop, hop!" At the top, they giggled, "We did it!"

Next, they found a river in the kitchen. "Splish, splash, let's jump!" said Timmy. "But, we need a bridge," said Jake. Together, they used a big book as a bridge. "Tip-toe, tip-toe," they went across. "Hooray, we crossed the river!" they cheered.

Then, they saw a dark tunnel. It was the space under the table. "Are you ready?" asked Timmy. Jake nodded, "Yes, let's go!" They crawled through, saying, "Woohoo, woohoo!" On the other side, they found a treasure chest. It was a box full of crayons!

"Wow, colors!" said Jake. "Let's draw a big rainbow," said Timmy. They drew together, with red, blue, and yellow crayons. The rainbow was big and bright. "It's so pretty," said Jake. "Yes, it is," said Timmy.

After their adventure, they felt happy and tired. "That was fun," said Jake. Timmy smiled, "Yes, it was a big adventure!"

They learned that with a little imagination, every day is full of fun.

Even the smallest adventures can bring the biggest smiles.
