Mia is three. She wakes. The sun is soft. She puts on a red hat. "Let us go," she says.
Mia walks in the big room. The sofa is a hill. The rug is a river. Her teddy is a brave bear. They start to roam.
Mia builds a boat from a box. She hums. She pats the bear. "Come," she says. The boat moves on the rug river. Her cat joins. The cat purrs. The bear nods.
A toy bridge is too high. Mia thinks. She finds a pillow. She stacks it slow. She climbs with care. She uses tiny hands. She taps the bear. The bear smiles.
They cross the bridge. Mia cheers. She laughs. The cat hops light. No one is lost. Mia is calm and kind.
In the kitchen there is a cave of chairs. Mia brings a light. "Hello," she says to the toys. They find a tiny snack. Mia shares. All sit in a round. They sing a soft song. The sun goes low. Mia yawns. She walks back. Her room is near. Her mom comes and hugs. Mia feels safe.
Mia learns to try, to share, and to be brave in small ways.
Be curious, help friends, and be kind.
