Max loves playing outside. Today, he is at the park with his friends. Coach Charlie is there too. "Let's play badminton!" says Coach Charlie. Max smiles and nods.

Coach Charlie shows a new trick. "Watch me," he says. He hits the shuttlecock high in the sky. Max's eyes are big. He wants to try. Max holds his racket tight. He swings and misses. "Try again, Max," says Coach Charlie. Max tries again. The shuttlecock flies up. Max laughs. "I did it!" he cheers.

Max plays with his friend, Tim. They hit the shuttlecock back and forth. Tim runs fast. He trips and falls. "Ouch!" says Tim. Max runs to his friend. "Are you okay?" asks Max. Tim nods but looks sad. "I can't play," Tim says.

Coach Charlie comes over. "It's okay, Tim. Sit and rest," he says. Max feels worried. He wants to help. "Can I try again, Coach?" asks Max. Coach Charlie smiles. "Yes, Max. You can do it."

Max takes a deep breath. He holds the racket. He hits the shuttlecock high. It goes over the net. Tim claps. "Good job, Max!" says Tim. Max feels happy.

Coach Charlie says, "Let's all play together." Max and Tim cheer. They play and laugh. They take turns hitting the shuttlecock. Max feels proud. He helps Tim stand. "Teamwork is fun," says Max.

The sun starts to set. "Time to go home," says Coach Charlie. Max waves goodbye to Tim. "See you tomorrow!" says Max. Max feels warm inside. He learned a new trick. He helped his friend. And he had fun with his team.

Max walks home with a smile. Today was a good day. Playing is fun. Helping is kind. Teamwork makes Max happy.
