Little Wolf wakes up. He looks outside. The city is busy. Cars go vroom. People walk. Little Wolf sees something. There is litter on the ground. Paper. Bottles. Wrappers.
“Mama, why is there so much trash?” asks Little Wolf.
Mama smiles. “Some people forget to throw trash away. We can help.”
Little Wolf nods. He puts on his shoes. He takes a small bag. Mama takes a bag too. They walk outside. The sun is warm. The trees wave in the breeze.
Little Wolf picks up a shiny wrapper. He puts it in his bag. Mama picks up a bottle. She smiles.
“Look, Mama! I found another paper,” says Little Wolf.
“Well done, Little Wolf,” says Mama.
They walk to the park. Other children are there. They pick up trash too. Everyone helps. Little Wolf feels happy.
“Thank you, friends!” he says.
The park is clean now. The grass is green. The flowers are bright. The birds sing. Little Wolf claps his hands.
“We did it!” he says.
Mama hugs Little Wolf. “When we help, the earth is happy,” she says.
Little Wolf smiles. “Let's always help. Let's throw trash away. Let's take care of the earth.”
“Yes,” says Mama. “We can all help. Every little bit is good.”
Little Wolf feels proud. The park looks nice. The city is clean. Little Wolf and his friends play. They laugh. The earth feels good. Mama smiles.
Little Wolf remembers: “We care for the earth. The earth cares for us.”
