Lily loves her bike. It's red and shiny. She rides it every day. One sunny morning, Lily talks to Coach Ben.
"Hello, Coach Ben!" says Lily with a big smile.
"Hello, Lily! How is your bike today?" asks Coach Ben.
"My bike is happy, and I am happy too!" says Lily.
Coach Ben nods. "Would you like to join the big bike race, Lily?"
Lily's eyes grow wide. "Oh yes, I want to race! But I need to ask Mom and Dad."
Lily pedals home fast, her hair flying in the wind. She finds Mom and Dad in the kitchen.
"Mom, Dad, can I join the big bike race?" she asks.
Mom smiles. "A race? You must be very brave, Lily."
Dad nods. "Yes, and remember, it's not just about winning. It's about having fun."
Lily claps her hands. "I love fun! And I love my bike!"
Mom and Dad look at each other. "Okay, Lily, you can race," they say together.
The next day, Lily meets Coach Ben at the park. Many kids are there. They all have bikes.
"Hello, everyone!" says Coach Ben. "Are you ready to race?"
"Yes!" shout all the kids. Lily looks around and smiles. She sees new friends.
Coach Ben says, "Remember, the race is fun. Help each other and smile."
The race begins. Lily pedals fast. She feels the wind. She sees her new friends racing too.
"Go, Lily, go!" they cheer.
Lily pedals harder. She feels happy. She feels strong. The finish line is near.
Lily crosses the line with a big smile. Everyone cheers. Coach Ben gives her a hug.
"You did it, Lily!" he says. "You had fun, and you made friends."
Lily nods. "I love biking. I love my new friends. I love the race."
Mom and Dad hug Lily. "We are proud of you," they say.
Lily smiles. "I am proud too. I love my bike, I love my friends, and I love to race!"
And Lily learns that biking is not just about racing. It's about fun, friends, and being happy.
