Chapter 1: The Big Idea
Max and Leo were the best of friends. They were almost four years old, and they loved to play together. One sunny day, Max said, “Leo, do you know what day it is?”
Leo scratched his head and replied, “Is it ice cream day?”
Max giggled. “No, silly! It's Mother's Day!”
“Oh! Mother's Day!” Leo exclaimed. “What should we do for our moms?”
Max thought and thought. “I have a big idea! Let's write letters!”
“Letters?” Leo asked, his eyes shining. “What do we write?”
Max smiled wide. “We write how much we love them! It will be special!”
So, the two friends sat down with colorful crayons and big, bright paper. Max wrote, “Dear Mom, I love you so much! You are the best!”
Leo cheered, “That's perfect! I want to write too!”
He scribbled, “Dear Mom, you are my sunshine! I love your hugs!”
Max giggled, “Hugs are the best! My mom makes the best cookies too!”
Leo nodded. “And my mom makes the best pancakes!”
They both laughed, imagining their tasty treats.
Chapter 2: The Surprise Plan
The next day at school, Max and Leo couldn't wait to share their letters. Their teacher, Ms. Daisy, clapped her hands. “Today, we celebrate our moms! Let's make it special!”
Max jumped up and said, “We wrote letters!”
“Oh, how wonderful!” Ms. Daisy smiled. “Let's make a surprise for our moms!”
“What surprise?” asked Leo, bouncing on his feet.
Ms. Daisy said, “We will make flower cards! We can use these colors!”
Max and Leo cheered. “Yay! Flowers for our moms!”
They got busy, cutting paper into beautiful flower shapes. Max chose pink, and Leo picked yellow. They giggled as they stuck flowers on the cards.
Max said, “I will put my letter inside!”
Leo said, “Me too! It will be a surprise!”
Everyone in the class was busy making cards. They sang songs about their moms, and the room was full of laughter and joy.
Chapter 3: Mother's Day Magic
Finally, it was time for the moms to come. Max and Leo were so excited.
When their moms arrived, they shouted, “Surprise!”
Max rushed to his mom and handed her the card. “Happy Mother's Day! I love you!”
Leo hugged his mom tight and said, “You are my sunshine! Look at my card!”
Their moms smiled big smiles. “Oh, thank you, my sweet boys!”
Max's mom read the letter and said, “This is the sweetest letter ever!”
Leo's mom laughed, “I love your hugs, too!”
Max and Leo looked at each other, their hearts full of happiness.
“Writing letters was a great idea,” whispered Max.
“Yeah! Moms love our words!” Leo smiled.
The sun shone brightly, and the room was filled with love and laughter. It was a perfect Mother's Day, full of hugs, letters, and the magic of friendship.
