Tommy was a little boy. He was happy and loved to play. One day, Tommy saw a big playground. He smiled and ran to it.

“Whee!” he shouted. “I love to slide!”

At the playground, Tommy met a friend. “Hi, Mia!” he said. Mia smiled back. “Hi, Tommy! Let's play!”

They climbed the stairs together. “Up, up, up!” said Tommy. “Look at me!” He slid down fast. “Zoom!”

Mia giggled. “My turn! Whee!” She slid down too. They laughed and played.

“Let's swing!” said Tommy. They ran to the swings. “Higher, higher!” said Mia. “I can touch the sky!”

Tommy pushed Mia. “You fly, Mia!” Mia smiled big. “Thank you, Tommy!”

Then, they saw a little boy crying. “What's wrong?” asked Mia. The boy said, “I lost my toy.”

“Let's help him!” said Tommy. They looked everywhere. “Where is it?” Tommy said.

“Over there!” Mia pointed. The toy was by the slide. “I found it!” shouted Tommy.

The little boy smiled. “Thank you!” he said. “You are my friends!”

Tommy and Mia smiled too. “Friends help each other,” said Tommy.

“Let's play together!” said Mia. They all played happily.

They shared toys and took turns. “This is fun!” said the little boy.

Tommy nodded. “Yes! Friends are special!”

The sun was setting. “Time to go home,” said Mia.

“I had a great day!” said Tommy.

“Me too!” Mia said. “Let's play again!”

“Tomorrow!” said Tommy.

They waved goodbye. “Friends forever!” they said together.

Tommy felt warm inside. “I love my friends!” he thought.

And he did. Friends are treasures. Friends make happy days.
