Dr. Lily is a happy doctor. She helps people feel better. Every day, Dr. Lily smiles and says, "Hello! How can I help you today?"

Dr. Lily wears a white coat. It is very soft and clean. She has a big bag full of special tools. There is a stethoscope to listen to hearts go "thump-thump." There is a thermometer to see if someone is warm.

One bright morning, Dr. Lily goes to the clinic. She meets Nurse Sam. Nurse Sam is very kind. He helps Dr. Lily. "Hello, Nurse Sam!" says Dr. Lily. "Hello, Dr. Lily!" says Nurse Sam. They work together like a team.

Today, Dr. Lily has a busy day. She sees a little boy named Ben. Ben has a sore throat. "Oh dear," says Dr. Lily. "Let's make your throat better!" She gives Ben some medicine. Ben smiles and says, "Thank you, Dr. Lily!"

Suddenly, the phone rings. Ring, ring! Nurse Sam answers. It is an emergency! A lady needs help quickly. Dr. Lily grabs her bag and runs fast, fast, fast!

When Dr. Lily arrives, she sees the lady. The lady is scared. Dr. Lily holds her hand and says, "It's okay. I am here to help." Dr. Lily checks her heart. Thump-thump. She checks her temperature. All is well.

Dr. Lily gives her some medicine. She smiles and says, "You will feel better soon." The lady smiles back. "Thank you, Dr. Lily," she says.

At the end of the day, Dr. Lily is tired but happy. She helped many people today. Dr. Lily loves being a doctor. She loves making people smile.

The sun sets. Dr. Lily waves goodbye to Nurse Sam. "See you tomorrow!" she says. Dr. Lily feels warm inside. Helping is her favorite thing.
