Chapter 1: A Surprise Plan

Once upon a sunny morning, Benny the Bunny woke up with a big smile. Today was a special day. It was Mother's Day! Benny wanted to do something wonderful for his mom.

“Today, I will surprise Mom!” he said, hopping around his cozy burrow. “But how can I make it special?”

Benny thought and thought. Then, he had an idea! “I can ask my friends for help!”

Benny ran to find his best friends, Lily the Ladybug and Max the Mouse. He found them playing by the big flower patch.

“Lily! Max!” Benny called. “I need your help! It's Mother's Day, and I want to surprise my mom!”

“What a great idea!” chirped Lily, fluttering her tiny wings. “What do you have in mind?”

“I want to make her a sweet card and bake her favorite carrot cake!” said Benny. “Then, we can have a party!”

Max squeaked with excitement. “I love carrot cake! Let's do it!”

So, the three friends got to work. They gathered pretty flowers and colorful leaves for the card. Benny wrote, “I love you, Mom!” in big, bouncy letters.

“Now for the cake!” Benny exclaimed.

Chapter 2: Cake Adventures

Off they went to the big carrot patch. Benny hopped with joy. “Look at all these carrots! We'll make the best cake ever!”

Lily flew around, looking for the biggest carrot. “How about this one?” she said, pointing to a carrot that was taller than Max!

“Wow! That's perfect!” Benny said, his eyes shining. Together, they pulled the carrot out of the ground.

“I'll carry it!” squeaked Max, puffing his cheeks. The carrot was heavy, but Max was very brave.

At Benny's burrow, they washed the carrot and started mixing it with flour and some honey.

“This is going to be delicious!” Benny said, licking a bit of honey off his paw.

“Don't eat all the honey!” giggled Lily. “We need some for the cake!”

While they baked, a lovely smell filled the air. “It smells like a warm hug!” Max said, sniffing with delight.

“Now we need to set up the surprise party!” said Benny.

Chapter 3: The Special Day

As the cake cooled, Benny and his friends decorated the burrow. They hung flower garlands made from the petals they picked.

“Look, it's like a rainbow in here!” Lily said, twirling around.

Just then, Benny peered outside. “Shh! Mom is coming!”

Benny's mom, Mama Bunny, hopped back home, her little ears flopping. She looked tired but happy.

“Surprise!” shouted Benny, popping up with his friends.

Mama Bunny's eyes widened. “Oh, my little Benny! What is this?”

Benny handed her the colorful card. “Happy Mother's Day, Mom! We made you a cake!”

Mama Bunny read the card. “I love it! Thank you, Benny!”

Benny smiled from ear to ear. “Let's eat cake!”

They all gathered around the table. The cake was fluffy and sweet. Mama Bunny took a big bite, and her face lit up. “This is the best cake ever! You all are the best little bakers!”

Benny, Lily, and Max giggled with joy. They spent the afternoon eating cake, playing games, and sharing stories.

“Every day should be like this,” Mama Bunny said, snuggling Benny close.

And they all agreed, filling the burrow with laughter and love.

Benny looked at his friends and his mom. “I'm so happy! Thank you for helping me make this day special!”

And they all hopped and danced together, celebrating the sweetest Mother's Day ever.
