Benny the bear woke up one sunny day. He stretched his paws and smiled. “Today is a good day!” he said.
Benny loved to play in the meadow. The flowers were bright, and the grass was soft. As he walked, he saw something shiny. “What is that?” he wondered.
Benny got closer. It was a little blue bird. “Hello!” said Benny. “What is your name?”
“I'm Bella!” chirped the bird. “I found a shiny stone!”
Benny's eyes sparkled. “Can I see it?”
“Sure!” Bella flapped her wings and showed Benny the stone. It glowed in the sunlight.
“It's beautiful!” Benny said. “Can we play together?”
“Yes!” Bella replied happily. They began to play. They ran, they laughed, and they shared stories.
“Let's build a nest!” suggested Bella. Benny gathered twigs. Bella picked soft leaves. Together, they made a cozy nest.
Suddenly, a wind blew! The nest wobbled. “Oh no!” cried Bella.
“Don't worry,” said Benny. “I can help!” He held the nest with his strong paws. Bella flapped around, keeping the leaves safe.
When the wind stopped, they cheered! “We did it!” they giggled.
Benny smiled. “Friends help each other.”
Bella nodded. “Yes, friends make things better!”
At sunset, Benny and Bella sat on a hill. The sky was pink and orange. “I'm glad we met,” said Benny.
“Me too!” chirped Bella.
Benny looked at his new friend. “Together is the best place to be.”
