One sunny day, little Ben found a shiny, round ball in the garden. "Wow!" said Ben. The ball was bright and sparkly. Ben felt his heart go boom-boom with excitement.
"Let's go, ball!" giggled Ben. The ball rolled and bounced, and Ben followed. "Weee!" shouted Ben, clapping his hands. The ball seemed to dance with Ben's joy.
Ben's eyes were wide and happy. "This is fun!" he said. He felt a warm, excited feeling inside. He pointed to his belly. "Excited!" said Ben, smiling.
Ben's friend, Daisy the cat, came running. "Meow!" she said. "Play with us, Daisy!" Ben laughed. Daisy chased the ball too, purring with joy.
As the sun set, Ben hugged his ball. "Thank you, ball," he whispered. Ben learned excitement was a happy feeling, like sunshine in his heart.
"Goodnight, ball. Goodnight, Daisy," said Ben. He felt calm and cozy. Ben knew he could feel excitement again tomorrow.
