Dr. Tom was a friendly doctor. He wore a white coat and a big smile. Every day, he helped children feel better. “Let's check your heart!” he said. “Thump, thump, thump!” went the stethoscope.

One day, Dr. Tom heard a cough. “Oh no! Who is that?” he asked. It was Lily, a little girl. “I feel yucky!” she said. Dr. Tom called Nurse May. “Let's help Lily together!” said Dr. Tom.

They took care of her. “You'll be okay!” said Nurse May. “Just breathe!”

Lily smiled. Soon, she felt better. “Thank you, Dr. Tom! You are the best!” she cheered. Dr. Tom felt happy. “Helping people is the best job!” he said. And they all laughed.
