A young hero of about 25 with a round face and gentle smile wears a shiny silver suit with small stars, a blue jetpack and a belt with a large red "HELP" button; he flies slightly above the ground, reaching for the long string of a colorful silver space kite that has struck a lamppost; a small round metallic kitten-sized robot with glowing blue pupils stands on the sidewalk to the left near the lamppost, blinking and applauding; an orange tabby sits in the right foreground watching with a curled tail; the warm nighttime city shows round metal lampposts, colorful lit facades, glossy cobblestones and a pale blue moon above the roofs, the lamppost wobbles but the light comes back, creating a soothing, safe atmosphere. report a problem with this image

In Starshine City, bright lights blink, blink. Cars go vroom. A calm blue moon smiles.

Zoom Jay is a young man hero. He has a silver suit with tiny stars. He has fast feet and a soft jet pack. It goes whoosh-whoosh. His belt has a big red button that says HELP.

Jay flies over the tall homes. “I am Zoom Jay!” he says. “I keep you safe!”

A little robot on a street post beeps. “Beep-beep! Power low!” it says. The street lights go dim. The crosswalk goes click… click… slow.

Zoom Jay lands with a hop. “Hi, friends,” he says. “I can help.”

He taps his wrist. A small sun-ball pops out. Pop! It glows warm and kind. Jay holds it up. The lights wake up. Blink! Blink!

But then, up in the sky, a silly space kite spins down. It is shiny and round. It bonks a lamp. Bonk! The lamp wobbles. Jay giggles. “Nice try, space kite.”

He zooms. Whoosh! He gently grabs the kite string. He ties it to a safe sky hook. Toc-toc, knot-knot. The kite floats happy, far from lamps.

The robot claps its little arms. “Yay!” it says. “Beep-beep!”

People wave. A cat goes meow. Jay bows. “All good,” he says. “City shining!”

He flies home slow and proud, under the blue moon.

Moral: Be brave and kind, and use your special gifts to help everyone.
