Nova Nix is a young hero. She has a shiny silver suit and big round star boots. Her cape is soft and blue. On her wrist, a bright band goes “beep-beep!” It makes light she can shape.

In Skybright City, tall towers glow. Little cars go “vroom.” Drones go “bzz-bzz” in the sky. Nova smiles. “I keep you safe,” she says.

A small space cloud drifts in. It is not mean. It is just lost. It bumps a roof. “Bomp!” A street light flickers. “Blink-blink.”

Nova hops up. “Hop!” She zooms with a soft “whoooosh.” She holds out her hand. A warm light net pops out. “Pop!” The cloud sits in it like a pillow.

“Hi, Cloudy,” Nova says. “Do you need help?”

The cloud goes “poof-poof.”

Nova giggles. “Okay. Follow me.”

She makes a light road in the air. “Zing-zing!” The cloud floats along. People look up and wave. “Yay, Nova!”

At the Space Gate, Nova taps her band. “Toc-toc.” The gate opens. “Whee!”

Cloudy drifts out, happy and calm. Nova bows. “All set.”

Moral: A brave heart can be gentle and help everyone feel safe.
