A smiling, confident blonde curly-haired superheroine in a shiny golden cape and light-blue starry costume leaps to catch a large red balloon with her right hand above a boy, Max (about 4, short brown hair, laughing eyes) who holds the string on the ground to her left, while a girl, Mia (about 5, braided black hair) in a pink dress holds a wagging brown puppy to her right near a green bush; sunny village square with beige cobbles, pastel houses, blue birds and a big smiling yellow sun; dynamic heroic action with simple speed lines, joyful expressions, bright contrasting colors and thick childlike strokes. report a problem with this image

Sunbeam Sally wakes up in Sunnyville. She is strong and kind. Her cape shines gold. She can run very fast and jump very high. Sally's hair is bright and curly. Her shoes sparkle. She smiles at everyone.

One morning, Sally hears a funny sound. “Help! My balloon is flying away!” calls little Max. Sally runs quick. She jumps up, up, up! She grabs the red balloon. She lands softly. “Here you go, Max,” says Sally. Max laughs. “Thank you, Sunbeam Sally!” he says.

Sally hears a giggle. “Oh no, my puppy is stuck!” says Mia. Sally zooms over. She bends down. She reaches under the bush. The puppy licks her hand. Sally hugs the puppy and gives it to Mia. “Thank you, Sally!” says Mia. Sally winks. “Puppy kisses make me happy,” she says.

The sun shines bright. Birds sing. Sally sees a cat on a roof. “Meow!” Sally waves to the cat. “Come, kitty,” she says. Sally jumps. She picks up the cat. The cat purrs in her arms. “Safe now,” Sally says softly.

The people of Sunnyville clap and laugh. Sally bows and grins. She feels proud. Superheroes help friends. They share smiles.

When you are kind and brave like Sally, every day can be a sunny day.
