Captain Giggleboots wakes up in his bright blue house. He puts on his shiny yellow boots. Captain Giggleboots can jump very high and make everyone laugh. The city needs him today!

He hears his friend, Kitty Zoom, say, “Captain Giggleboots, look! There are too many balloons in the park!” The red, green, and blue balloons are everywhere. They cover the swings and the slide. The children cannot play.

Captain Giggleboots smiles. He jumps up, high, high, high! “Let's help!” he says. He jumps to the balloons. He bounces gently on them. Pop! Pop! The balloons go away—soft and safe. The children clap and laugh.

A little boy says, “Thank you, Captain Giggleboots!” Captain Giggleboots bows and does a silly dance. Kitty Zoom giggles and dances too.

Just then, a puppy's ball rolls under the bench. “Oh no!” says the puppy. Captain Giggleboots jumps and gets the ball. “Here you go!” he says. The puppy wags his tail.

Captain Giggleboots waves to everyone. “I love to help,” he says. The sun shines bright. The city feels happy and safe.

It is fun to be brave and kind every day.
