A joyful, wide-eyed 4-year-old boy with tousled brown hair kneels to grasp a large colorful Easter basket; he wears a blue-and-white striped sweater and yellow shorts. To his left, his smiling mother (about 30–35) with chestnut hair in a bun and a green floral dress claps softly, while to his right his caring father (about 30–35) with light beard, red plaid shirt and jeans stands leaning with a hand on the boy’s shoulder. The bright spring garden has green grass, a large round-leaved tree, beds of yellow daffodils and pink tulips, and a blue sky with a few fluffy clouds; sunlight highlights the boy discovering a basket filled with colored eggs, shiny chocolates and a small plush rabbit. report a problem with this image

Once upon a time, in a cozy little house, there lived a cheerful little boy named Tommy. Tommy loved Easter. He loved the bright eggs, the chocolate bunnies, and the colorful decorations. But this Easter was extra special because Tommy had a surprise adventure waiting for him.

Early that morning, as the sun peeked through the clouds, Tommy's mom and dad called him into the living room. "Tommy," said Daddy with a big smile, "we have a special Easter adventure for you today!"

Tommy's eyes widened with excitement. "What is it? What is it?" he asked, bouncing up and down.

Mommy handed him a shiny card, shaped like an egg. "This is a map full of clues," she explained. "Each clue will lead you to the next, and at the end, there's a special Easter surprise!"

Tommy clapped his hands. "Yay! I love surprises!"

The first clue on the card was simple. "Find the place where the flowers bloom, and look under the yellow bloom." Tommy knew just where to go. He dashed out to the garden, where daffodils danced in the breeze. Underneath a bright yellow flower, he found another card.

"Great job, Tommy!" Daddy cheered. "Let's read the next clue."

The second clue said, "Where do you swing high and touch the sky?" Tommy ran to his favorite swing set. As he swung back and forth, he spotted a card tied with a ribbon to the swing's chain.

"This is fun!" giggled Tommy, as Mommy helped him read the next clue.

"Where do your toy cars like to zoom?" Tommy knew! He ran back inside to his playroom, where his toy cars were parked. Next to the red racing car was another clue.

Tommy's giggles filled the room as he read the next one. "Find the place with bubbles and rub-a-dub-dub." Off to the bathroom he went, where he loved taking bubble baths. Behind the colorful soap bottle, he found another clue.

"Wow, Tommy, you're doing great!" said Mommy, clapping her hands.

The next clue was a bit trickier. "Where do you sleep and dream so deep?" Tommy thought hard. Then he smiled and ran to his bedroom. Underneath his cozy blue blanket, he found a card that was different from all the others. It was sparkly and shiny.

"This must be the last one!" shouted Tommy, wiggling with excitement.

The final clue said, "Look for a basket where the bunnies rest." Tommy remembered the big tree in the garden where he always imagined bunnies lived.

With Mommy and Daddy following, Tommy raced outside. Near the tree, nestled in the grass, was a big, colorful basket. It was filled with chocolate eggs, marshmallow chicks, and a cuddly toy bunny.

"Hooray!" Tommy squealed, grabbing the basket. "I found it. I found it!"

Tommy's mom and dad hugged him tight. "You did a wonderful job, Tommy. Happy Easter, our little adventurer!" said Daddy, smiling proudly.

Tommy sat down on the soft grass, surrounded by his family. He munched on a chocolate egg, sharing his treats with Mommy and Daddy. The sun shone brightly, and the garden was alive with colors.

"This was the best Easter ever," said Tommy, leaning against Daddy's shoulder.

Mommy laughed and nodded. "And next year, we'll have more adventures and surprises."

Tommy's eyes sparkled with joy. "I can't wait!"

And so, in the warmth of the spring sun, Tommy's Easter adventure ended with laughter, love, and the promise of many more joyful days to come. The little boy felt happy and loved, ready to dream of new exciting adventures. With his toy bunny in hand, he knew that each Easter would be full of magic and fun.
