Bunny Blue woke up in the soft, green grass. Sunlight danced on his fur. Today was Easter. Bunny Blue wiggled his nose. Something special was waiting. On his blanket, he found a tiny, colorful book. It was a book of Easter poems. The cover sparkled like morning dew.

Bunny Blue opened the book. The first page showed a poem with hopping words:

“Look for eggs where flowers grow,

Under petals, pink and low.”

Bunny Blue smiled. He bounced to the garden. Bright tulips and daisies waved hello. Bunny Blue peeked under the pink petals. “Hello, little egg!” he cheered. A shiny chocolate egg, wrapped in pink foil, was hiding there.

Bunny Blue read the next rhyme:

“By the pond, where lilies sleep,

A secret treat is yours to keep.”

Off he hopped, fluffy tail bobbing. The pond was calm. Frogs croaked softly. Bunny Blue looked near the water lilies. “Quack!” said a friendly duck. “Are you looking for something?” Bunny Blue nodded. The duck pointed with her wing. Bunny Blue found a blue egg, cool and smooth. “Thank you, Duck!” he giggled.

Turning the page, Bunny Blue saw another rhyme:

“Near the tree with bark so brown,

Something sweet is to be found.”

Bunny Blue hurried to the big tree. Its branches stretched wide. Squirrels chased each other in the leaves. Bunny Blue looked at the roots. There it was—a yellow egg, bright as sunshine. “This one is for you!” chattered a squirrel, placing it in Bunny Blue's paws.

Only one rhyme was left:

“Inside your cozy, grassy nest,

The final egg waits for a rest.”

Bunny Blue bounced home. His nest was soft and round. He peeked inside. A green egg, sparkling with golden dots, was waiting for him. Bunny Blue clapped his paws. All four eggs were found!

He lined up his eggs. Pink, blue, yellow, green. They shined in the sunlight. Bunny Blue felt happy and warm. The duck and the squirrel came to visit. They all shared giggles and chocolate eggs.

Bunny Blue snuggled in his nest. The grass whispered. The eggs glimmered. Outside, the garden glowed with colors. Easter was sweet, soft, and full of magic.

Bunny Blue yawned. “Thank you, little poem book,” he whispered. “Thank you, friends.” The day ended with smiles and gentle hugs. All was peaceful. All was bright.
