Sunny Morning
Once upon a time, in a small, cozy house near the big blue sea, there lived a little boy named Tommy. Tommy was three years old. He loved summer because summer meant playing outside all day long.
One sunny morning, Tommy woke up to the sound of birds chirping happily in the trees. He rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms wide. “Good morning, Sun,” he said softly as he jumped out of his bed. Today, he felt something special inside. Maybe today, he would do something big!
Tommy put on his red shorts and his favorite blue t-shirt. He loved this t-shirt because it had a big yellow star on it. It made him feel like a star too. As he walked into the kitchen, he smelled pancakes. “Yummy!” he said with a giggle.
“Good morning, little star!” said his mom with a smile. “Are you ready for a fun day?”
“Yes, yes!” Tommy clapped his hands. He couldn't wait to see what adventures awaited outside.
Adventure in the Garden
After breakfast, Tommy ran to the garden. The grass was green and soft under his bare feet. The sun was warm on his skin, like a cozy blanket. He loved the way it made everything look happy and bright.
Tommy saw his friend, Benny the butterfly, dancing from flower to flower. “Hello, Benny!” he waved. Benny flapped his wings as if to say hello back.
Tommy skipped along the little path in the garden, and suddenly, he saw a big, shiny red ball. It was his ball! He remembered how he tried to kick it high before, but it was hard. Today, he wanted to try again.
He took a deep breath, like his dad showed him. He looked at the ball and said, “I can do it!” Then, with all his might, Tommy kicked the ball. Up, up it went, higher than ever before!
“Yay!” Tommy shouted, jumping up and down. “I did it, I kicked it high!”
His mom clapped her hands, watching from the porch. “I knew you could do it, Tommy!” she called out, proud and smiling.
Tommy felt warm inside, like the sun was shining right in his heart. He learned that trying again made him feel proud and happy.
Evening Smiles
As the sun began to set, coloring the sky with orange and pink, Tommy sat on the porch swing with his mom. They watched the stars starting to twinkle one by one.
Tommy thought about his day. He remembered kicking the ball high and felt proud again. “I'm happy I tried,” he said softly.
His mom hugged him close. “I am proud of you, Tommy. You are brave and strong, just like a shining star.”
Tommy smiled and snuggled closer to his mom. He felt safe and loved, like the stars were twinkling just for him.
As the night wrapped around them, Tommy closed his eyes, ready to dream of more summer adventures. And so, with the stars watching over him, Tommy drifted into a peaceful sleep, dreaming of sunny days and the joy of trying new things.
