Little Wolf wore a big, floppy wizard hat. His hat was too big and always slid over his eyes. “Oops!” said Little Wolf. “I cannot see my paws!”
Little Wolf wanted to try some magic. He waved his tiny, furry wand. “Magic, magic, turn this pebble into cheese!” he said. The pebble went POP! It turned into... a sock. “Oh no!” giggled Little Wolf. “That's a silly sock, not cheese!”
“Maybe the prophecy says: ‘A sock for lunch?'” asked Little Wolf. His friend Squirrel peeked out from a bush. “Can I eat the sock?” asked Squirrel. “No, no!” laughed Little Wolf. “Let's try again!”
Little Wolf waved his wand. “Magic, magic, give me a snack!” This time, a bubble floated out of his hat. “That's not a snack!” said Squirrel.
Little Wolf grinned. “The prophecy said, ‘Bubbles bring giggles!'” Everyone giggled and giggled.
Little Wolf tried one last spell. “Magic, magic, make my hat fit!” His hat wiggled. It wobbled. Then it shrank, right onto his tail!
Little Wolf laughed, and Squirrel clapped. “Magic is funny,” said Little Wolf, “especially when it goes wrong!” Little Wolf and friends danced in the bubbles, happy in their silly, magical world.
