Chapter 1: Exciting Morning

Sam woke up early. The sun was shining bright. Today was a special day. It was his first day of school! Sam jumped out of bed.

“Mom! Mom! I'm ready for school!” he called with a big smile.

His mom came to his room. “Oh, Sam! You look so nice in your new shirt!” she said. Sam wore a blue shirt. He liked blue. It made him feel happy.

“Can I have my favorite breakfast?” Sam asked.

“Of course, my little champ! Pancakes with syrup!” his mom replied.

Sam sat at the table. He was excited but a tiny bit nervous too. “What if I don't make any friends?” he thought.

His mom noticed. “It's okay to be nervous, Sam. You will meet new friends today. Just be yourself!”

Sam nodded. “I will be myself!” he said. He took a big bite of his pancakes and smiled. They were yummy!

After breakfast, Sam put his backpack on. It was bright green with stars. He felt proud. “I can do this!” he said.

Chapter 2: New Adventures

At school, Sam saw lots of kids. Some were playing, and some were standing with their parents. Sam's heart pounded.

“Look, there's Mr. Brown!” said a girl with curly hair. She was holding a pink backpack.

“Who is Mr. Brown?” Sam asked.

“He is our teacher! He is very nice!” she replied.

Sam felt a little better. He walked with her to the classroom. “I'm Sam,” he said.

“I'm Lily!” she said with a big smile.

In the classroom, Mr. Brown welcomed everyone. “Good morning, class! Welcome to a new year! We will have so much fun learning together!”

Sam felt warm and happy. Mr. Brown seemed friendly.

“Today, we will make art!” Mr. Brown said. “Let's paint our favorite things!”

Sam loved painting. He felt excited again. He quickly grabbed a brush and started painting a big blue star.

“I like your painting!” Lily said. “It's very shiny!”

“Thank you!” Sam beamed. They painted and talked. Soon, Sam forgot he was nervous.

At snack time, Sam sat with Lily. They shared cookies and talked about their favorite games.

“I love playing tag!” Lily said.

“Me too!” Sam replied. “Let's play together!”

After snack, they went outside. Sam and Lily ran and had fun. Sam felt happy.

Chapter 3: A Bright Day

The bell rang, and it was time to go back inside. “That was fun!” Sam said to Lily.

“Yes! I can't wait for more games!” she replied.

Mr. Brown clapped his hands. “Great job, everyone! Tomorrow, we will learn about animals! Bring your favorite toy animal!”

Sam's eyes sparkled. He loved his toy dinosaur. “I will bring my dinosaur!” he said loudly.

At the end of the day, Sam felt proud. He had made a new friend and had a great time.

As he walked home with his mom, he told her everything. “I painted a star! And I made a friend named Lily!”

His mom smiled. “I knew you could do it, Sam! I am so proud of you!”

“I love school!” Sam shouted.

When they got home, Sam hugged his mom tight. “Thank you for helping me,” he said.

“You are welcome, sweetie. You are brave and wonderful,” she replied.

That night, Sam went to bed with a happy heart. He couldn't wait to go back to school. Tomorrow would be another exciting day full of new adventures!
