Next to him, Leo, also 7, wearing a green cap and a yellow t-shirt, enthusiastically pushes Max, his eyes sparkling with happiness. Finally, Sam, a 7-year-old boy with blonde hair and round glasses, stands beside them, holding a sandwich in one hand and laughing with a big smile. The schoolyard is filled with bright colors, featuring lush trees, colorful flowers, and playground equipment in the background. Classmates are playing hopscotch and having fun on a slide. Chapter 1: The First Day

It was a sunny morning. Max woke up with a big smile. "Today is my first day of school!" he said. His mom smiled back. "Yes, it is! Are you ready, Max?"

Max jumped out of bed. "I'm ready!" he said. He put on his blue shirt and his favorite red shoes. Max looked in the mirror. "I look great!"

At school, Max saw other children. They were playing and laughing. Max felt a little shy. "What if I don't make any friends?" he thought.

But then, he saw a boy with a green cap. "Hi! I'm Max," he said.

The boy smiled. "I'm Leo! Let's play!"

Max felt happy. "Okay!"

They ran to the swings. "Push me, Leo!" shouted Max. Leo pushed him high. "Whee!" Max laughed.

Then, they heard a bell. "Time for class!" said a friendly teacher. Her name was Miss Lily. "Welcome to school! Let's learn and have fun together!"

Chapter 2: New Games

In class, Miss Lily said, "Today, we will play a game to know each other!"

Max and Leo sat together. "What game will we play?" asked Max.

Miss Lily smiled. "It's called 'Find a Friend.' You will ask each other questions!"

Max was excited. "What do I ask?"

"Ask things you like!" said Miss Lily.

Max turned to Leo. "What is your favorite color?"

"Green! Like my cap!" Leo replied.

Max smiled. "Mine is blue!"

They asked each other many questions. Soon, they made new friends. "I like school!" Max said.

Miss Lily clapped her hands. "Great job, everyone! Now, let's draw our favorite things!"

Max picked up his crayons and drew a big blue car. "Look, Leo!" he said.

"Wow! I love it!" Leo said.

Chapter 3: A Happy Day

After drawing, it was time for lunch. Max, Leo, and a boy named Sam sat together.

"What do you have for lunch?" asked Sam.

"I have a sandwich! What about you?" Max replied.

"I have a peanut butter and jelly!" said Leo.

"I have an apple!" said Sam.

They shared their lunches and laughed. "This is fun!" said Max.

At the end of the day, Miss Lily said, "You all did a great job today! Remember, school is a place to learn and make friends."

Max smiled brightly. "I made new friends!"

Leo nodded. "Me too!"

Sam added, "School is awesome!"

Max felt warm inside. "I can't wait for tomorrow!" he said.

And with that, Max went home with a big happy heart, ready for many more adventures at school.
